Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Wrench (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalton Bernaird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dalton Bernaird!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wrench darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bernaird is trying to get back to full guard.
Wrench content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bernaird is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bernaird wants to control but Wrench is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bernaird tries to roll over but Wrench keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wrench cracks Bernaird with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Wrench connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bernaird wants to try and get back to his feet.

Wrench postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bernaird looks a forlorn figure.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wrench changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bernaird tries to avoid it but Wrench manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bernaird to the ground. Bernaird escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harrison Wrench. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A close second round but Dalton Bernaird will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Harrison Wrench has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalton Bernaird.
Wrench cracks Bernaird with a big right hand but Bernaird just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Wrench's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
