PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Lawton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Berg's choice of entrance music: Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Lawton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Berg!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawton shoots in for a double leg but Berg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lawton tries to clinch but Berg is having none of it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lawton pulls guard successfully.

Lawton looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Berg passes into side control.

Berg has control of Lawton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lawton regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Alexander Berg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Berg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
