Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arkadiusz Bzura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasan Malik Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hasan Malik Ali will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bzura takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Bzura darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Malik Ali is looking to improve his position.
Bzura seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Malik Ali trying to control but Bzura postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bzura is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Malik Ali wants to get back to full guard.

Malik Ali wants to control but Bzura is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bzura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Malik Ali for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bzura throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bzura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Malik Ali dips to his left and cracks Bzura with an uppercut!

It looks like Arkadiusz Bzura has been cut.
Bzura walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Bzura shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Malik Ali is trying to defend but Bzura finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bzura is nestled in close to Malik Ali, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Malik Ali is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bzura jumps into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bzura decides to stand back up.

Malik Ali gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bzura to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Malik Ali is trying to keep Bzura in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bzura looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Bzura continues to stall.

Malik Ali manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Malik Ali smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bzura throws a sloppy body shot
and Malik Ali counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bzura walks straight into a right hand from Malik Ali - that's dropped him! Malik Ali jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bzura from any more punishment! Bzura complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
