Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gigante Pesado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gigante Pesado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jordan Herring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gigante Pesado!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesado throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Jordan Herring has been cut.
Herring scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Gigante Pesado has been cut.
Pesado clinches.
Pesado is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Herring pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Herring is trying to break free.
Herring wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pesado breaks from the clinch.
Pesado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pesado swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Herring.
Herring digs a good body shot into Pesado's ribs.
Pesado moves in looking to clinch but Herring pushes him off.
Herring fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pesado throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Herring's waist but Herring gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pesado off to one side.
Pesado tries to close the distance and clinch but Herring swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Herring has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Bear's Den in the buildup to the fight.
Herring getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Herring tries to land a leg kick but Pesado saw it coming and moves away.
Herring sizes up Pesado with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Good exchange - Herring coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Herring's corner calls for a 1-2. Herring obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Herring cracks Pesado with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Herring has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pesado to stand back up!
Pesado is rocked!
Herring finds Pesado's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Pesado flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Herring lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Pesado will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jordan Herring!
