The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macdonah darts in and clinches Bieber up against the cage.
Macdonah lands a shoulder strike.

Bieber has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Macdonah after a bit of a struggle.
Macdonah wants to break free but Bieber has control.
Bieber is trying to drag Macdonah to the mat but Macdonah just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Goey Macdonah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Bieber.
Bieber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Macdonah pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee is keeping an eye on Macdonah - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Macdonah controls Bieber momentarily but Bieber frees himself.

Bieber seems to have recovered his senses.
Macdonah wants to sweep here but Bieber controlling him for the moment.

Bieber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Macdonah is trying to control the position but Bieber postures up.
Bieber is looking to work some ground and pound but Macdonah has wrist control.

Bieber drops back looking for a leg! Macdonah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Macdonah manages to kick Bieber off! Bieber jumps back into Macdonah's guard.

Bieber is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Macdonah has escaped the position, nice work there.
Macdonah on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Macdonah tries to get out of the position.

Bieber is working to tighten his grip on Macdonah's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Macdonah has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bieber is really squeezing tight and eventually Macdonah passes out! Bieber breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

In his post fight interview, Justin Bieber started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
