Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Art Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Khuramov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Art Acevedo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Art Acevedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergey Khuramov! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khuramov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Well, if Khuramov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Khuramov gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Khuramov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Acevedo sprawls well initially but Khuramov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Acevedo wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khuramov wants to stand up but Acevedo is controlling the position.
Khuramov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Acevedo controlling the position for now. Khuramov decides to return to a standing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Acevedo enables Khuramov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Acevedo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Khuramov stands up and waves to Acevedo to follow him. Khuramov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Acevedo tries to circle away but Khuramov has him pinned against the cage. Acevedo tries to pull guard but Khuramov won't allow it.
Acevedo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Khuramov prevents it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Art Acevedo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khuramov drags the fight down to the ground.
Khuramov is pulling down on Acevedo's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khuramov manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Acevedo is trying to pull guard but Khuramov has him pressed against the cage. Acevedo tries to break the clinch but Khuramov is controlling the position. Khuramov stalling in the clinch.
Khuramov effectively controlling the action here. Khuramov is defending well against a takedown attempt. Acevedo wants to break free but Khuramov has control.
Khuramov decides to pull guard. Khuramov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khuramov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Acevedo's guard.
Acevedo is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khuramov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Acevedo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Khuramov, into his guard. Khuramov doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Khuramov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Acevedo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Acevedo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Khuramov wants to stand up but Acevedo is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Khuramov holds on and takes a little breather. Khuramov is looking for a triangle but Acevedo pushes his legs off easily.
Acevedo won't allow Khuramov to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Khuramov pulls Acevedo in close to prevent any damage. Khuramov wants to improve his position but instead Acevedo has moved into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergey Khuramov dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Khuramov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khuramov showed some decent athleticism there. Acevedo is staying active underneath Khuramov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Khuramov trying to mount his opponent but Acevedo defends it. Acevedo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khuramov is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Khuramov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Acevedo sees it coming and defends easily. Khuramov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Well, if Khuramov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Acevedo tries to roll over but Khuramov keeps him under control. Khuramov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Acevedo is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Khuramov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Acevedo to the mat! Acevedo manages to get full guard. Acevedo has his hands on Khuramov's head, controlling the position. Khuramov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khuramov throwing strikes from guard but Acevedo blocks nicely. Khuramov stopping the sweep attempt from Acevedo. Acevedo has control of Khuramov's left arm, preventing Khuramov from doing any damage. Khuramov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Acevedo working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Khuramov working a defensive guard here.
Khuramov is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Acevedo presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Khuramov is trying to trip Acevedo. He has hold of a leg but Acevedo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Khuramov persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Khuramov postures up.

Khuramov tries to stand but Acevedo is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergey Khuramov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Acevedo counters with a straight right hand. Khuramov feints and as Acevedo raises his hands in defense, Khuramov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Acevedo pulls Khuramov in close to prevent any damage. Acevedo controls Khuramov momentarily but Khuramov frees himself. Acevedo wants to control the position but Khuramov says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khuramov stalling. Acevedo trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Khuramov seems content to control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Khuramov lands a nice short elbow. Khuramov gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Khuramov darts in trying to clinch and Acevedo counters with a single leg into guard. Khuramov didn't expect that. Khuramov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Acevedo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Khuramov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Acevedo sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khuramov controls Acevedo momentarily but Acevedo frees himself. Khuramov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Acevedo's guard.

Acevedo controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Khuramov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Khuramov trying to control from half guard but Acevedo is working away. Acevedo is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Khuramov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Khuramov throwing shots but Acevedo is blocking nicely. Acevedo is looking to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Khuramov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Art Acevedo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sergey Khuramov is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Acevedo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Khuramov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Acevedo has a couple of punches blocked by Khuramov.
And that's the end of the fight! Sergey Khuramov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Khuramov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
