The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dizwazer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pope swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pope lands a big head kick that sends Dizwazer tumbling to the mat! Pope takes a step backwards and waves Dizwazer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like CJ Dizwazer has been cut.
Dizwazer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Dizwazer is rocked!
Anthony Pope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pope moves into the clinch.
Oh Dizwazer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pope breaks from the clinch.
Dizwazer seems to have got his legs back now.

Pope lands a big uppercut and Dizwazer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dizwazer looks OK. Pope waves Dizwazer back to his feet!

Dizwazer gets tackled into the cage by Pope. Pope maintains the clinch.
Dizwazer lands a nice shot to the body.

Dizwazer tries to pull guard but Pope holds him up against the cage and eventually Dizwazer drops back down to his feet.
Pope lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

We've been informed that Pope has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pope throws a sloppy head kick and Dizwazer moves out of range easily.
Dizwazer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dizwazer!
Pope misses with a series of wild punches.
Dizwazer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dizwazer blocks a head kick by Pope.

Pope drives through and clinches with Dizwazer against the cage.

Dizwazer gets control of Pope's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dizwazer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Dizwazer has his feet on Pope's thighs here. He's pushed Pope off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pope screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
