The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Iron misses.
Iron darts in looking for a takedown but Huginius gets double underhooks and turns Iron into the cage.
Iron avoids the head kick by Huginius.
Huginius misses with a takedown
and Iron counters with a left and a right that stings Huginius.
Huginius misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Huginius keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Huginius takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Iron fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Iron. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Iron is looking to counter the offense by Huginius and move into the clinch.
Iron shoots in looking for a takedown but Huginius manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Iron's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Iron tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Huginius defends well and Iron ends up having to push Huginius into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Huginius swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Huginius throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Iron.
Iron jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Iron looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Huginius is fending him off so far but Iron persists. Nope, Huginius circles away and we're back to standing.

Huginius tries to bum rush Iron with a series of wild strikes but Iron uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Iron tries to counter by clinching up but Huginius breaks away and moves out of range.
Iron shoots in and drives through. Huginius sprawls well.

Iron is breathing heavily.
Whack! Huginius lands a heavy head kick that drops Iron. The ref tackles Huginius to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Iron was done.
