Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tanlagu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace comes to the cage accompanied by BraveHeart. Tanlagu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Where The Hood At. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 15 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Tanlagu! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Tanlagu. Wallace does a little dance to reset his feet. Tanlagu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Tanlagu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wallace displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tanlagu. Wallace thuds his right hand into Tanlagu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tanlagu throws a combination that misses and Wallace cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wallace shoots in for a takedown but Tanlagu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. David Tanlagu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch but Tanlagu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tanlagu keeps the fight on the outside. Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. No luck for Wallace with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace checks a low kick from Tanlagu. Wallace half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Tanlagu misses with a jab to the body
and Wallace counters with a low kick, right behind Tanlagu 's knee. Tanlagu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tanlagu swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wallace moves in looking to clinch but Tanlagu pushes him off. Wallace pushes Tanlagu up against the cage in a clinch. Wallace escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tanlagu throws a leg kick but Wallace moved away. Wallace misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wallace looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Tanlagu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wallace fails in his attempt to clinch. A head kick misses from Wallace. Wallace is looking to clinch. Tanlagu throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tanlagu tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wallace tries to control but Tanlagu wriggling away. Tanlagu's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Wallace cracks Tanlagu with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tanlagu is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Tanlagu felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Wallace landing strikes, looking to finish! Tanlagu is looking to improve his position but Wallace isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace cracks Tanlagu with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tanlagu is rocked! Wallace controlling from mount. Tanlagu is still in real trouble! Can Wallace finish him? Wallace with the ground and pound from mount. Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A nice elbow there by Wallace. Wallace cracks Tanlagu with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
