Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Keene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scott Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keene lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Scott Jordan has been cut.
Jordan misses with a straight right.
Keene bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jordan's head backwards.
Keene scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Keene gets tackled into the ropes by Jordan. Jordan maintains the clinch.

Jordan's coach down at Bonsai Club MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jordan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Keene looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Keene's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Keene lands a left and a right that send Jordan crashing to the mat, dazed. Keene thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Jordan is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jordan walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Keene! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Keene!
A relieved looking Scott Keene thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
