Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Sudworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sudworth is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Control. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franklin Gardner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aidan Sudworth! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sudworth. Gardner seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Gardner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sudworth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sudworth feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gardner's calf. Sudworth throws a sloppy head kick and Gardner counters with a takedown into side control. Gardner moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Gardner looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gardner lands some shots froms side control. Sudworth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gardner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gardner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sudworth, who protects the arm well. Sudworth wants to get back to his feet. Sudworth looking for a sweep but Gardner has passed into full mount! Oh no! Gardner is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sudworth to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sudworth shrugs it off. Sudworth tries to improve his position but instead Gardner has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gardner controlling well, preventing Sudworth from escaping the position.
Sudworth trying to control the position but Gardner manages to sink in the hooks. Gardner throwing damaging strikes from the back! Sudworth could be in trouble here!
Sudworth felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Gardner is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sudworth knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sudworth for a finish. I really don't envy Sudworth right now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gardner is working for a rear naked choke. Sudworth is not defending it well and Gardner has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Sudworth refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Sudworth's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Franklin Gardner!
