The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reem shoots in looking for a takedown but Diaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reem's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Diaz misses the shot to the body.
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Reem is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Diaz with a body shot.
Diaz misses with a leg kick
and Reem counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Reem decides to pull guard.
Reem looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Reem looking for subs off his back but Diaz has passed one foot through into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz throws a leg kick
and Reem counters with a crisp one two that drops Diaz! Reem thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Diaz to his feet! Diaz is in big trouble!

and Reem holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Diaz tries to break the clinch but Reem is controlling the position.

Reem manages to break the clinch.
Reem rushes Diaz with punches - Diaz moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Diaz goes down! Reem follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
