Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larainzinha Carioca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Pawlowatski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frederick Pawlowatski!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carioca fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Carioca tries to clinch there but Pawlowatski circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Carioca changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pawlowatski tries to avoid it but Carioca manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pawlowatski to the ground. Pawlowatski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pawlowatski creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Carioca's defenses.

It looks like Larainzinha Carioca has been cut.
Carioca wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Carioca tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pawlowatski smiles and moves away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Carioca shoots for a takedown but Pawlowatski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carioca cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pawlowatski bucks Carioca off and manages to get back to his feet!

And that's the end of the fight!
Larainzinha Carioca showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Carioca has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
