Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Goku Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shigeru Tobla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tobla is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: the red jumpsuit apparatus - face down. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Goku Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shigeru Tobla! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Son misses with a head kick.
Son closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tobla tries to circle away but Son has him pinned against the cage. Tobla breaks from the clinch.
Tobla looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Son fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tobla, pushing him back against the cage. Son drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tobla pulls his leg out and moves away.
Son closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Son gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tobla is refusing to be controlled, as Son sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Son winds up and cracks Tobla with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tobla really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Son. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Still in half guard, Son seems content to control. Son prevents Tobla from improving his position. Tobla on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Son looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Son is trying to work for a kimura but Tobla is defending well.
Son wants to take a breather but Tobla is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tobla trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Son manages to pass to mount!
Tobla is wriggling around trying to escape.
Son landing strikes from the mount. Son working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Tobla looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Son! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Goku Son! The defeated Shigeru Tobla had this to say: 'I need to train harder'.
