Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanjeeva Suresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to X Gonna Give It To Ya . Sanjeeva Suresh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suresh gets a clinch.
Suresh stops a takedown attempt from Wood.
Knees in the clinch landing for Suresh.
Suresh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A big head kick from Wood and Suresh is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Sanjeeva Suresh has been cut.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Wood cracks Suresh with a solid left hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Suresh can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wood lands a nice short elbow.
Suresh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wood drops an elbow to the side of Suresh's head.

Wood looks up at the clock and then as Suresh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wood smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sanjeeva Suresh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
