The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ayala gets caught napping as Fuller dives in and scores a takedown. Ayala manages to retain guard.

Ayala uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Fuller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ayala to the ground. Fuller is now in Ayala's guard.

Ayala has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fuller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ayala.
Ayala is looking to reverse the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fuller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fuller is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ayala is trying to escape and Fuller transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ayala is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fuller! Very nice indeed!
