Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maurice Smith!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hudson throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Hudson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Smith throws a head kick that half lands.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smith. That's going to slow Hudson down.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Smith.
Hudson misses with the combination.
Hudson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hudson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Hudson is looking for a counter combo.
Hudson throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and moves out of range.
Smith cracks the inside of Hudson's front leg.
Smith lands a leg kick that knocks Hudson off balance momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hudson takes one to the chin there.
Hudson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hudson fails to land with a series of punches.
Hudson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hudson avoids the body shot from Smith.
Smith scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hudson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Smith.
Hudson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Smith counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hudson is breathing heavily.
Hudson moves away from the strike by Smith.
Hudson misses with a kick to the body.
Smith feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hudson's calf.
Smith connects with a body shot that sends Hudson's belly button to the back.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hudson doesn't seem phased though.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Smith.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Hudson.
Smith lands a big head kick that sends Hudson tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Hudson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hudson is rocked!
Smith drops Hudson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Smith follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maurice Smith!
A relieved looking Maurice Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
