Mosby throws a hook but Bates blocks it.
Mosby fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bates on the side of the head.

Mosby throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bates throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Mosby counters with a single leg into guard. Bates didn't expect that.
Bates pulls Mosby in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mosby trying to control the position from guard on top but Bates is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mosby throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bates works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bates is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mosby has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bates to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mosby is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bates pulls down on the head and he's put Mosby to sleep! This one is all over!
