The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Eremeev. Yuudai does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yuudai defending well as Eremeev loads up on a big left hand.
Eremeev misses with a jab to the body
and Eremeev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yuudai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Eremeev was well out of range. Poor timing from Yuudai.

We've been hearing reports that Eremeev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Yuudai. Eremeev shrugs it off though.
Yuudai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Yuudai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eremeev.
Eremeev shoots in looking for a takedown. Yuudai tries to sprawl out of it but Eremeev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yuudai manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eremeev cracks Yuudai with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Eremeev throws a jab but it's blocked by Yuudai.

A nice side step and Yuudai releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Yuudai thumps Eremeev with a low kick.

Eremeev looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Yuudai pushes Eremeev off and scrambles back to his feet.
Eremeev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Eremeev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Yuudai counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Yuudai slips under a jab from Eremeev.
Eremeev lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Eremeev.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yuudai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Eremeev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Yuudai scrambles back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Eremeev.
Yuudai is looking to slow Eremeev down with leg kicks.
Yuudai misses with an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Eremeev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yuudai defends well and Eremeev ends up having to push Yuudai into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Eremeev misses with a body shot.
Eremeev takes a swing at Yuudai's ribcage but misses.
Yuudai throws out a counter right but Eremeev avoids it with no problem.
Eremeev misses with a hook
and Yuudai counters with a nice low kick that buckles Eremeev's knee momentarily.
Eremeev tries for a takedown but Yuudai circles away easily
and Yuudai counters with a straight right hand.
Eremeev is rocked!
Eremeev is breathing heavily.
Crunch! Yuudai slams his shin into Eremeev's torso.
Oh Eremeev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Eremeev leaves his chin hanging out and Yuudai seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Eremeev crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Takeshi Yuudai!
