Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alun Warburton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sachz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Sachz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alun Warburton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Sachz!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warburton catches Sachz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Sachz drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sachz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sachz wants to pass the guard but Warburton is keeping the position.
Sachz trying to control the position from guard on top but Warburton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sachz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Sachz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Warburton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sachz has managed to get both his arms back between Warburton's legs - danger averted.
Sachz is pushing down on Warburton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Warburton is fighting to maintain full guard but Sachz has managed to sneak the leg through.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sachz connects with a nice short shot to Warburton's temple.
Warburton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sachz scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sachz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sachz connects with a nice short shot to Warburton's temple.
Warburton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sachz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Warburton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sachz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sachz prevents Warburton from improving his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sachz is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Warburton is pressing down on Sachz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Warburton tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Sachz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Warburton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sachz manages to get himself to full guard.

You can see the frustration on Sachz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Warburton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Warburton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sachz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sachz is looking to regain half guard here but Warburton keeps moving and retains side control.

Warburton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sachz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Warburton tries to move to mount but Sachz blocks the move with his legs.
Warburton throws an elbow but Sachz slips to the side and avoids it well.

Warburton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sachz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Sachz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Sachz is defending against the submission attempts here by Warburton.
Warburton passes the guard and advances to mount!

Warburton is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sachz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sachz shrugs it off.
Sachz tries to hold on but Warburton postures up.

Warburton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sachz is on top in guard.

Warburton wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alun Warburton will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Sachz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sachz is looking to take a break and control but Warburton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Warburton tries to improve position but can't.
Warburton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sachz off and has taken his back!

Warburton working for a choke but Sachz is defending well.
Sachz is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Warburton off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Sachz is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Warburton is staying active.
Warburton controlling well, preventing Sachz from escaping the position.

Warburton working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sachz trying to control the position but Warburton manages to sink in the hooks.

Sachz won't enjoy being in this position. Warburton looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Sachz is tapping - it's over boys! Warburton picks up the submission victory!
