Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Hais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Spoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hais comes to the cage accompanied by Time to Say Goodbye by Bocelli & Brightman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Vladimir Hais! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Spoka! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hais works over Spoka's head and body with a nice combination. Spoka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hais counters with a nice double leg into side control. Spoka won't be happy with that. Hais is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spoka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hais working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Spoka pushes Hais away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hais gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hais tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hais has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spoka wants to get back to his feet but Hais drags him back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hais thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hais is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spoka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hais working away. Hais tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hais has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hais tries to move to mount but Spoka blocks the move with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Spoka is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hais has just dragged him back down to the mat. Spoka prevents Hais from moving into mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Spoka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hais looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Spoka is defending well. Hais quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Spoka has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hais celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Vladimir Hais!
