Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarrett Steele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marco Polo!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steele tries to keep at a distance but Polo has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steele explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Polo clinches up with Steele and pushes him back against the cage.
Polo is pressed up against the cage. Steele has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Polo down to the mat. Polo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Steele shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Polo pinned against the cage. Polo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Steele is looking to stand back up but Polo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Steele.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Polo gets to mount! Steele was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Polo wants to control the pace but Steele is squirming around nicely.
