Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dariuz Adamazk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JJ Smoke! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamazk clinches. Adamazk manages to break the clinch.
Smoke scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Adamazk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smoke on the ground. Smoke tries for a kimura but Adamazk is defending well. Smoke working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Adamazk is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Smoke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Smoke wants to free his trapped foot but Adamazk is holding on for dear life with his legs. Smoke seems to be working for a kimura but Adamazk defends the submission attempt. Smoke is looking for a kimura but Adamazk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Smoke to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adamazk wants to control but Smoke is keeping busy and won't allow it. Smoke is trying to work for a kimura but Adamazk is defending well.

Smoke trying to control the action but Adamazk is working from the bottom. Smoke seems to be working for a kimura but Adamazk defends the submission attempt. Smoke wants to work for an arm triangle but Adamazk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smoke has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Adamazk defend it? Smoke steps over the head and cranks it - Adamazk is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Smoke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). JJ Smoke! JJ Smoke decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
