Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Crunch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Santos had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a double leg but Crunch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Santos tries to clinch up
and Crunch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Crunch drops his hands momentarily and Santos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Santos has a takedown stuffed.
Crunch pivots, looking for a leg kick but Santos is out of range and Crunch settles back down.
Crunch throws a hook to the side of Santos's head but Santos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

And Crunch responds with a good body kick, but Santos manages to step out the way in time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Horrible takedown attempt by Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Crunch, which made it look bad.
Santos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crunch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Santos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Crunch looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

I would just about give that final round to Captain Crunch.
