Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Freitag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Osterman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freitag comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - Break stuff. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Osterman!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osterman misses with a wild body shot.
Osterman misses with a two punch combination.
Freitag is looking to counter punch.
Osterman throws a combination that misses
and Freitag counters with a three punch combo that has Osterman backing up. Osterman nods at Freitag to acknowledge the strikes.
Freitag defending well as Osterman loads up on a big left hand.
Osterman slaps away a takedown attempt from Freitag, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Osterman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Freitag swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Freitag darts in looking for a takedown but Osterman gets double underhooks and turns Freitag into the cage.
Osterman connects with a body shot.
Freitag connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Osterman's hands.
Freitag takes one to the side of the head.
Freitag misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Osterman.

It looks like Mike Freitag has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Osterman shoots in but no luck this time.
Osterman throws a series of strikes that have Freitag backpedaling.
Freitag is rocked!

Freitag is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Osterman just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Freitag has gone limp and this one is over!

Kevin Osterman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Mike Freitag stepped up to the mic, saying 'Congrats to the champ! He was the better fighter tonight.'.
