The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneill shoots in for a double leg but Ackerman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Oneill is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ackerman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ackerman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oneill, pushing him back against the cage.
Ackerman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A short body shot lands from Ackerman as the two fighters clinch.
Oneill is breathing heavily.

Ackerman pushes Oneill against the cage. Ackerman is working some dirty boxing. Ackerman pushes off with a quick right hook! Oneill goes down! Oneill tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Ackerman moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
