Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Beach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beach's entrance music is Amazing. A fine choice. Cody Beach has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beach looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.
Silva clinches.
Beach fails to pull the fight into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Beach looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Silva won't allow Beach to pass to mount.
Silva holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beach. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva wants to control but Beach is keeping busy.
Beach wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
Beach wants to stand up but Silva is controlling the position.

Silva is trying to maintain the position but Beach is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Beach shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Silva throws a nice looking combination but Beach bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Beach is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Beach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wanderlei Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Silva clinches up with Beach and pushes him back against the cage.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Beach has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
