Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mehmet Muhammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Whaley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whaley has chosen Drowning Pool - Tear Away as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Muhammad. Whaley does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little jabbing left from Whaley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Muhammad looks to land a right hand but Whaley moved out of range.
Whaley defending well as Muhammad loads up on a big left hand.
Muhammad throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Whaley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Muhammad.
Nice straight punches there by Muhammad. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Muhammad.

Mehmet Muhammad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muhammad throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Whaley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Whaley releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Whaley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Muhammad swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Whaley.

Whaley tries to counter with a clinch but Muhammad shakes him off and moves away.

Muhammad is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Nice uppercut lands for Muhammad. That snapped Whaley's head back.

Muhammad cracks Whaley with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Whaley falls to his knees and Muhammad doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
