Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leo Deens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shojo Shoujou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shojo Shoujou is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leo Deens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shojo Shoujou!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deens clobbers Shoujou with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Shoujou fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Deens manages to avoid it.
Deens wants to clinch.
Shoujou throws a series of punches but Deens avoids them all with ease.
Shoujou tries to score a power double leg takedown but Deens sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shoujou somewhat.
Deens is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shoujou.
No joy there for Deens, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A jab from Deens misses.
Deens uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shoujou.
Deens waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Shoujou.
Shoujou uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Deens.
Deens looks to land a left hand but Shoujou moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shoujou looks to score with a jab to the body but Deens is just out of range.
Shoujou throws a shot to the body.
Shoujou scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Deens drives through and clinches with Shoujou against the cage.

Shoujou has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Deens after a bit of a struggle.

Deens scores with a shot to the side of Shoujou's head.
Deens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shoujou swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Leo Deens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Deens walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shoujou checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Deens just misses with a punch to the body.
Shoujou misses with a body shot.
Deens attempts a counter takedown but Shoujou avoids it well and moves away.
Shoujou moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A nice leg kick lands there from Shoujou.
Shoujou ducks under a wild hook from Deens.
Deens misses with a looping right.
Shoujou is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Deens rather than just go for the knockout.
Deens fails to land with a series of punches.
Shoujou tries to bum rush Deens with a series of wild strikes but Deens uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Deens gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Deens on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Deens throws a hook to the side of Shoujou's head but Shoujou sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Leo Deens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deens misses with a body shot.
A nice side step and Shoujou releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Shoujou fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Deens looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Shoujou looking to score a takedown here. Deens is defending well but Shoujou drives through and ends up in Deens's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shoujou stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deens swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Deens pulls Shoujou in close to prevent any damage.
Shoujou stops Deens from standing up.
Shoujou in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Deens bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shoujou's guard.
Shoujou is pulling down on Deens's head. It's preventing any offense from Deens, at least for the moment.

Shoujou looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Deens puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Shoujou wants to get back to full guard.
Shoujou regains full guard. Nicely done.
Deens throws a big elbow that misses.
Shoujou manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Deens manages to get himself to full guard.
Shoujou trying to control but Deens is working from the bottom.
Shoujou seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Shoujou is looking to work some ground and pound but Deens has wrist control.

Deens looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shoujou is one step ahead there.
Deens is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Shoujou postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Shoujou stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deens swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shoujou trying to control but Deens is working from the bottom.
Shoujou advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Shojo Shoujou will probably get the nod.

Deens tries to clinch but Shoujou is having none of it.
Deens takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Deens throws a jab but it's blocked by Shoujou.
A good leg kick by Shoujou.
Deens throws a hook to the side of Shoujou's head but Shoujou sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Deens will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deens misses with an uppercut. Shoujou saw that one coming.
Deens gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shoujou.
Deens looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Deens misses the jab.
Deens is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Shoujou misses with a body shot.
Shoujou displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Deens throws out the jab.

Shoujou misses with a series of wild punches.
Deens misses with a looping left.
Shoujou needs to keep his hands up - Deens had a free shot at his head there.
Shoujou stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Deens throws a hook but Shoujou blocks it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Shoujou wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Deens swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shoujou misses with a wild combination.
Deens dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Deens.
Shojo Shoujou seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Shoujou ducks right into an uppercut from Deens.
Deens drives through and clinches with Shoujou against the cage.
Shoujou is trying to break the clinch but Deens has him pressed against the cage.
Shoujou has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Deens avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Deens is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Shoujou has Deens pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Deens manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Leo Deens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shojo Shoujou.
Deens scores with a shot to the side of Shoujou's head.
Shoujou goes for a takedown attempt but Deens pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Deens looks to land a right hand but Shoujou moved out of range.
Shoujou moves away from the strike by Deens.

Shoujou slips under a jab from Deens.
Shoujou lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A lazy left from Deens finds it's target.
Nice uppercut lands for Deens. That snapped Shoujou's head back.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Deens, as that shot connected.
Shoujou is rocked!
Shoujou just misses with a punch to the body.
Shoujou is still on wobbly legs! Can Deens finish him?
Shoujou swings for the body but Deens moves out of range.
Shoujou jabs Deens to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Shoujou seems to have recovered his senses.
Deens thows a left - swing and a miss!
A countering left hand to the body from Shoujou misses.
Deens misses with a right hand
and Shoujou counters with a three punch combo that has Deens backing up. Deens nods at Shoujou to acknowledge the strikes.
Shoujou throws a big shot that misses.
Deens ducks under a wild hook from Shoujou.
Deens throwing a counter right hand but Shoujou manages to avoid it.
Deens moves in looking to clinch but Shoujou pushes him off.
Shoujou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Deens as he avoids it easily.
Deens lands a big uppercut and Shoujou crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shoujou looks OK. Deens waves Shoujou back to his feet!
Deens throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shoujou misses with a straight right.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shoujou throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A punch combination from Shoujou misses.
Deens takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Deens pounces like a tiger and cracks Shoujou with a vicious hook! Shoujou is down but not out! Deens follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Leo Deens!
