Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Kahn!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puller swats away the attempt to clinch by Kahn.
Puller lands a jab to Kahn's midsection.
Puller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A combination from Puller does no damage.
Kahn is looking for the big counter here.
Puller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Chesty Puller has been cut.
Puller ducks under a wild hook from Kahn.
Puller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Puller throws a big counter combination but Kahn scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Puller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kahn circles away quickly and effectively.

Puller manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kahn on his heels. He'll look to pass Kahn's guard now, I'm sure.

Kahn misses with a hook from the clinch.

Puller blocks an uppercut.
Puller blocks a body shot from Kahn.

Puller is working for takedown but Kahn is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kahn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Puller's efforts to push away.
Puller is trying to drag Kahn to the mat but Kahn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Puller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kahn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Puller.
Tyson Kahn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kahn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Kahn gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Puller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Puller shoots for a takedown but Kahn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Puller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Puller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Puller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kahn tries to kick Puller off but Puller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Puller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kahn defending well though.
Kahn is looking to escape.
Kahn has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but Tyson Kahn will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Puller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kahn tries to escape but Puller is in control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kahn can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ground and pound from Puller seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kahn is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Puller works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Chesty Puller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kahn wants to get back to his feet.
Puller scores with a couple of short elbows.
Kahn takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.


Kahn is rocked!
Puller in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Kahn looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Puller turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
