The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gotsov's half guard.

Coleman throws an elbow that misses. Gotsov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coleman's guard. Nice move by Gotsov!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Coleman dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Coleman is pressed up against the cage. Gotsov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Coleman down to the mat. Coleman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Gotsov wants to counter with a clinch but Coleman pushes him away.

and Gotsov counters by moving into the clinch.
