Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Idi Amin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amin's entrance music is Dangerous by Michael Jackson. A fine choice. Johnson has chosen Voodoo People as his entrance music. Thomas Johnson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Idi Amin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 35 - 1, fighting out of London, Thomas Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Amin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Amin keeps the fight on the outside.

Amin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage.
Johnson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Amin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Amin moves out of range easily.
Idi Amin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Amin swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.

Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Johnson has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Amin closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.
Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Amin pulls his leg out and moves away.

A decent looking cross lands there for Amin.

Johnson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Amin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Amin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Amin!

Johnson wants to control but Amin postures up.

Johnson tries to bench press Amin off him but Amin keeps the position.

Amin has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Amin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Amin is in Johnson's guard.
Amin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around?

Amin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Amin for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Amin is pressed up against the cage. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Amin down to the mat. Amin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Amin feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Amin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Johnson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Amin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Amin sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Amin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Amin finish him?!

Amin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Amin shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.

Amin grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Johnson takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Amin cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Idi Amin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
