Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robinson Crusoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gunnar Jensen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Jensen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robinson Crusoe! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jensen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crusoe. Jensen feinted with a counter takedown. Crusoe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jensen avoids it really well and circles away. Crusoe moves in looking to clinch but Jensen pushes him off. Crusoe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jensen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jensen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Crusoe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Crusoe. Jensen tries to counter with a takedown but Crusoe is quick to defend against it. Robinson Crusoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jensen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crusoe. Gunnar Jensen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robinson Crusoe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jensen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Crusoe is looking to pass into half guard but Jensen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jensen is in guard.

Jensen moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Crusoe. Crusoe struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jensen wants to stand but Crusoe has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Crusoe is trying to control the position but Jensen postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crusoe wants to sweep here but Jensen controlling him for the moment. Jensen trying to stand up but can't free himself from Crusoe's guard. Crusoe controls Jensen momentarily but Jensen frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Crusoe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jensen defends well. Crusoe is looking for a triangle but Jensen pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crusoe is trying to control the position but Jensen postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crusoe moves in looking to clinch but Jensen pushes him off. Crusoe misses with the combination.
Jensen attempts a counter takedown but Crusoe avoids it well and moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gunnar Jensen will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Crusoe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A low kick from Crusoe misses and Jensen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Crusoe working a defensive guard here.

Crusoe goes for a double leg but Jensen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jensen continues to drive forward. Jensen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Gunnar Jensen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crusoe shoots in but Jensen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jensen attempts a counter takedown but Crusoe avoids it well and moves away. Crusoe moves into range and clinches up with Jensen. Crusoe is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jensen is defending well. Crusoe wants a takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusoe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crusoe wants to hit a switch here but Jensen passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Crusoe there! Crusoe is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jensen prevents Crusoe from getting the reversal. Crusoe bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusoe won't allow Jensen to get back to his feet. Crusoe's corner is telling him to maintain position. Crusoe prevents Jensen from getting back to his feet. Jensen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Crusoe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jensen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Crusoe content to stall in guard here. Crusoe trying to control the position from guard on top but Jensen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Jensen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crusoe can do to turn this around?

Crusoe tries to score a body lock takedown but Jensen shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jensen is trying to trip Crusoe. He has hold of a leg but Crusoe is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jensen persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Gunnar Jensen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Crusoe working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jensen has passed into half guard!

Crusoe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jensen wants to stand up but Crusoe has a hold of him and won't allow it. Crusoe wants to control but Jensen passes into side.
Jensen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusoe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jensen appears to be looking for a counter takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Crusoe. Jensen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Crusoe down to the mat. Crusoe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Crusoe tries to clinch up and Jensen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jensen.

Jensen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Crusoe working a defensive guard but Jensen manages to pass into side control anyway.
Jensen wants to stand but Crusoe is controlling his arm. Robinson Crusoe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jensen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Crusoe to his feet. Crusoe tries a head kick but it misses.

And that's the end of the fight! Gunnar Jensen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jensen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
