Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ervin Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood throws a low kick but it's checked well by Castillo.
Hood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A swing and a miss from Hood.
Hood throws out a loose jab but Castillo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Castillo throws a body punch but Hood moves out of range.
Hood tries to clinch but Castillo is having none of it.
Hood swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Castillo counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Robin Hood has been cut.

Hood is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Castillo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Castillo to score with a decent uppercut.
Castillo ducks under a wild hook from Hood.

Robin Hood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castillo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Castillo pushes Hood up against the cage in a clinch.

Hood pushes off an throws an elbow but Castillo leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Hood takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Castillo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Oooh a lovely combination from Castillo sends Hood down but not out. Castillo dives into side control looking to finish.
Hood is rocked!

Castillo advances nicely into full mount.
Oh Hood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hood tries to improve his position but instead Castillo has taken his back!
Hood seems to have got his legs back now.
Castillo really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hood.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Hood is trying to stand back up.
Castillo controlling the position well here. Hood rolled but Castillo kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The cut man is working on Robin Hood's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hood throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Castillo counters with a straight right hand.

and Hood takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Castillo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hood pushes off an throws an elbow but Castillo leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Castillo presses Hood against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Castillo wants to break free but Hood has control.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Hood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Castillo.

and Castillo counters by moving into the clinch.

Some bone on bone action there as Castillo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
