Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blind Shaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes into the arena with Flash - Queen blaring out of the sound system. Shaman has chosen Shaman's Dream as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kelvin Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Blind Shaman! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shaman was well out of range. Poor timing from Parker. Shaman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Parker. Shaman walks into a left hand. Shaman tries to land a leg kick but Parker saw it coming and moves away.
Shaman jabbing away but nothing is landing. Parker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shaman. A punch combination from Shaman misses. Shaman throws a lazy right hand but Parker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Parker pushes Shaman up against the cage in a clinch. A hook to the body from Shaman.
Parker can't find room to land a body shot as Shaman controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Parker jumps guard but Shaman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Shaman is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Parker is keeping busy. Shaman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Shaman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Parker is defending well for now. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Shaman prevents a body shot from Parker. Shaman has Parker pressed against the cage.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shaman uses from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Shaman controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Shaman trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shaman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaman stands and throws Parker's legs to the side, diving into side control. Parker is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. My spies in Ueshibas Temple of Cloud Warriors inform me that Shaman has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Shaman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Shaman controls the position. Parker is looking for a sweep. Parker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Parker is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Shaman trying to control from half guard but Parker is working away. Shaman prevents Parker from improving his position. Parker wants to sweep but Shaman has passed to side control! Parker manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Shaman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Parker wants to improve his position but Shaman is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shaman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shaman's back! Parker doesn't have the hooks in and Shaman manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Blind Shaman will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Shaman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Shaman loads up on a big right hand but Parker slips the punch. Parker wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Parker walks into a stiff left hand from Shaman. Shaman moves out of range as Parker strikes. Shaman throws out a powerful jab. Parker stuns Shaman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A slow jab from Parker misses its intended target. Parker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Parker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Parker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Shaman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Shaman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Parker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Parker lands a two punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A looping hook to the body misses from Shaman. Parker does a little dance to reset his feet. Parker moves out of range of the strikes. Parker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shaman is looking to land body kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shaman, as that shot connected.
Shaman tests Parker's chin there with a solid looking shot. Shaman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but Shaman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Parker staying out of range there. Parker is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Shaman listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Shaman misses with a looping left. Parker is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shaman. Parker catches Shaman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Shaman walks into a stiff left hand from Parker. Shaman throws a good cross that connects.
Parker shoots in and bounces Shaman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Parker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker throws a big right hand that misses. Shaman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Parker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shaman is keeping the position for now. Parker scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Parker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Parker cracks Shaman with a solid left hand. Parker landing with the ground and pound. Parker throws an elbow that misses. Shaman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Parker's guard. Nice move by Shaman! Shaman stopping the sweep attempt from Parker. Shaman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shaman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Parker has his foot on Shaman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shaman works his way back into a safe position though. Shaman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Parker keeping full guard, as Shaman tries to pass. Shaman trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Shaman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shaman is one step ahead there. Shaman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Shaman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Parker wants to sweep but no luck. Shaman looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Shaman lands with a right hand. Shaman with a nice cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Blind Shaman will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Shaman throws out a leg kick but Parker moves out of range and Shaman only half commits. Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Shaman circles away.

Parker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Parker feints and as Shaman raises his hands in defense, Parker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Shaman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Shaman trying to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shaman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shaman trying to control the position.
Parker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shaman's guard. Parker trying to pass the guard but Shaman defending well. Parker lands with a punch from half guard. Shaman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Shaman trying to control here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Parker prevents Shaman from improving his position. Kelvin Parker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker lands with a punch from half guard. Shaman is controlling Parker's trapped leg to prevent Parker from advancing to side control. Shaman is trying to get back to full guard. Shaman trying to hold on to Parker's head to control him but Parker postures up.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kelvin Parker. I think Shaman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
