Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Farrokh Bulsara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Zerzhynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulsara's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bohemian Rhapsody. Zerzhynsky has chosen 2Pac-Under Pressure as his entrance music. Dmitry Zerzhynsky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Farrokh Bulsara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dmitry Zerzhynsky! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zerzhynsky lands a lovely overhand right. Zerzhynsky misses with a takedown attempt and Bulsara counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bulsara has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Beast in the buildup to the fight. Bulsara with a nice cross.
It looks like Dmitry Zerzhynsky has been cut. Zerzhynsky lands with a nice body punch. Bulsara throws out a loose jab but Zerzhynsky uses good head movement to avoid it. Bulsara with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bulsara pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bulsara misses with a leg kick and Zerzhynsky counters with a left to the body. Zerzhynsky closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zerzhynsky lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bulsara looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bulsara will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zerzhynsky tries to free his leg and advance position but Bulsara is retaining full guard. Bulsara is adopting a defensive guard. Bulsara preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zerzhynsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Bulsara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zerzhynsky wants to pass the guard but Bulsara is keeping the position. Zerzhynsky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Zerzhynsky stopping the sweep attempt from Bulsara. Bulsara working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zerzhynsky. Zerzhynsky postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bulsara is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zerzhynsky, into his guard. Bulsara not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zerzhynsky has his foot on Bulsara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bulsara works his way back into a safe position though. Zerzhynsky is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bulsara defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulsara looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Zerzhynsky swings for the body but Bulsara moves out of range.
Zerzhynsky works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A chopping leg kick lands by Zerzhynsky.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Bulsara. Zerzhynsky does a little dance to reset his feet. Zerzhynsky appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Zerzhynsky lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bulsara looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zerzhynsky throws a big shot that misses. Zerzhynsky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bulsara feints and then cracks Zerzhynsky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zerzhynsky down. Bulsara misses the jab. Bulsara takes a swing at Zerzhynsky's ribcage but misses. Zerzhynsky ducks under a wild hook from Bulsara. Zerzhynsky clinches up with Bulsara and pushes him back against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bulsara trying to control the position but instead, Zerzhynsky has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bulsara into the cage. Bulsara lands a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Farrokh Bulsara will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dmitry Zerzhynsky's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Zerzhynsky misses with a double jab
and Bulsara counters with a stiff right hand. Zerzhynsky shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bulsara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Zerzhynsky shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zerzhynsky was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Zerzhynsky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Zerzhynsky is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bulsara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zerzhynsky goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bulsara has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Zerzhynsky but great work by Bulsara.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulsara wants to control but Zerzhynsky is keeping him busy. Zerzhynsky is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bulsara is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Bulsara controlling from the full mount. Zerzhynsky is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zerzhynsky is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Zerzhynsky is squirming around, avoiding Bulsara's attempts to control the action. Bulsara sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Zerzhynsky manages to regain half guard. Good work. Zerzhynsky regains full guard. Nicely done. Bulsara has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Zerzhynsky tries to land a sweep but no joy. Zerzhynsky being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulsara's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Zerzhynsky looking for a sweep. Not yet Zerzhynsky, not yet. Zerzhynsky is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bulsara throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bulsara got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zerzhynsky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bulsara has managed to get both his arms back between Zerzhynsky's legs - danger averted. Zerzhynsky wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bulsara uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zerzhynsky. Zerzhynsky moves in looking to clinch but Bulsara pushes him off. Zerzhynsky gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bulsara tries to clinch up. Bulsara thows a body kick. Zerzhynsky tries to catch it but that hurt him. Zerzhynsky is breathing heavily. Zerzhynsky keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bulsara turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A head kick misses from Bulsara. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zerzhynsky! But no joy. Bulsara stuffs the takedown. Some bone on bone action there as Zerzhynsky checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bulsara throws a body shot but no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zerzhynsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bulsara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nice body punch from Bulsara. Bulsara cracks Zerzhynsky with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Zerzhynsky looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bulsara finish him?

Farrokh Bulsara dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Dmitry Zerzhynsky's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Bulsara lands a big uppercut and Zerzhynsky crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zerzhynsky looks OK. Bulsara waves Zerzhynsky back to his feet!
That has opened up Dmitry Zerzhynsky's cut even more. Farrokh Bulsara is winning the standup battle so far. Bulsara steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Zerzhynsky is out on his feet! Bulsara sets himself and nearly takes Zerzhynsky's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Farrokh Bulsara! Farrokh Bulsara very nearly forgot to thank Milwaukee's Best Nutrition amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
