Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murray Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewey Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
42 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Murray Jackson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dewey Foley! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a jab to the body
and Foley counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Murray Jackson has been cut. Jackson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jackson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Foley lands with a cross. Murray Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foley avoids the body shot from Jackson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Foley! But no joy. Jackson closes the distance and pushes Foley back into the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. A short body shot lands from Jackson as the two fighters clinch.
Foley is trying to stall.
Jackson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Foley misses with a punch to the body.
Nice body punch from Jackson - that landed with a thud.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the body. Jackson misses with a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A short right from Jackson on the inside. Jackson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Foley is trying to stall.
Jackson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jackson lands with a light punch inside. Jackson throws a punch but it's blocked by Foley. Jackson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jackson cracks Foley with a nice body shot. Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Foley doesn't seem bothered though. Jackson has managed to clinch.
Jackson lands an uppercut.
It looks like Dewey Foley has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson lands with a short shot to the head. Jackson misses with a body punch.
Foley blocking some punches.
Jackson cracks Foley with a nice body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson works on Foley's body with a couple of short punches. Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Donk. Jackson catches Foley right on the button with a cross. Jackson takes a swing at Foley's ribcage but misses. Foley throws out a counter right but Jackson avoids it with no problem. Jackson digs a good body shot into Foley's ribs. Foley dips to his left and cracks Jackson with an uppercut! Jackson is looking to wear down Foley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jackson lands with a shot to the body. Foley misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foley manages to avoid it. Foley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away. A swing and a miss from Jackson. Jackson misses with a wild body shot. Nice defenses there by Jackson. Jackson jabs at Foley's body. Foley lands a head shot. Jackson forces Foley back against the cage and clinches. Foley tries to throw a body punch but Jackson avoids it by throwing Foley back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jackson lands with a light punch inside. Jackson manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Foley feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Foley tries to move into range but Jackson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Foley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Foley's shoulder, as Foley tries to avoid the shot. Foley doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw. Foley connects with a looping right hand.
Foley takes one to the chin there.
Foley is rocked! Jackson cracks Foley with a right hand to the side of the head. Foley is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him? Jackson throws a body shot but no joy. Jackson cracks Foley with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Foley tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jackson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Foley is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Murray Jackson! Murray Jackson retains his middleweight title! Murray Jackson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
