Horrible takedown attempt by Gomez or perhaps it was just good defense by Arenas, which made it look bad.
Arenas throws a hook but Gomez blocks it.
Gomez feinted with a counter takedown.
Arenas misses with a straight right.
Gomez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Arenas throws a wild body kick that Gomez sees coming a mile off.
Gomez attempts a counter takedown but Arenas avoids it well and moves away.

Gomez tries to counter with a takedown but Arenas is quick to defend against it.
Arenas throws a left and a right that both miss

and Gomez counters with a single leg into guard. Arenas didn't expect that.
Arenas wants to stand up but Gomez is controlling him.

Gomez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gomez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Arenas screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gomez! Nice submission victory there!
