Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Tism (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tism has chosen Greg! The Stop Sign as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Hales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Tism! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tism fakes the leg kick and cracks Hales in the body. Hales with a poor takedown and Tism counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Mark Hales has been cut. Tism turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tism throws a hook but Hales avoids it easily. Hales scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tism wants to control but Hales is keeping busy.
Hales is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tism has managed to free his arm - good work. Hales is looking to advance position but Tism won't allow it. Hales is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hales looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hales is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tism has managed to free his arm - good work. Hales is looking for a kimura here.
Hales wants to work for an arm triangle but Tism is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hales is looking for a kimura here.
Hales tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tism knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Hales will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hales is working for a kimura but Tism is defending it quite comfortably.
Hales really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hales looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Hales is pressing down on Tism's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tism is holding on for now. Hales is looking for a kimura but Tism is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hales to get the leverage. Tism won't allow Hales to pass to mount. Hales seems to be working for a kimura but Tism defends the submission attempt. Hales prevents Tism from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tism is looking to control Hales's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tism avoid being mounted? Hales is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hales controlling the action here. Tism really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hales. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tism is not content to let Hales control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tism is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hales is pressing down on Tism's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tism is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Hales dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Hales's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Tism moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Tism connects with a leg kick. Hales looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Tism tests Hales's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hales ducks under a wild hook from Tism. Hales tries to counter with a takedown but Tism is quick to defend against it. Hales tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tism sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hales somewhat. Tism throws a shot from downtown. Hales moves away and avoids it. Hales drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tism sprawls and moves away. Tism ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hales dives in for a single leg takedown but Tism sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tism missing with a left hand there. Hales was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hales drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tism sprawls and moves away. Hales uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tism. Hales tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tism sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hales somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hales. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tism with a body punch. A glancing blow. Tism attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Tism connects with the punch. Tism stuffs the takedown attempt from Hales. Hales gets slowly back to his feet. Tism has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hales is landing a low percentage of strikes. Hales shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tism throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hales takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hales shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tism pinned against the cage. Tism gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hales on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tism. Tism obviously looking to wear him down.
Hales takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hales changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tism tries to avoid it but Hales manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tism to the ground. Tism escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tism fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hales has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tism lands a leg kick that knocks Hales off balance momentarily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hales displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tism throws out the jab. Tism misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hales.
Hales tries to counter with a takedown but Tism is quick to defend against it. Tism catches Hales with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tism misses with an uppercut. Tism throws a hook but Hales blocks it. Hales feinted with a counter takedown. Hales takes one to the side of the head.
Hales is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tism's half guard. Tism scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hales manages to mount him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tism tries to reverse the position but Hales maintains control. Hales is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tism is surviving well by controlling Hales's body position as best he can. Hales looking for a guillotine from mount but Tism is having none of it. Hales goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tism is on top in guard.
Hales is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tism trying to control but Hales is working from the bottom. Mark Hales overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hales pushes Tism off and gets back to his feet.
Hales shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tism as he avoids it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hales closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nice defenses there by Hales. Hales half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hales fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from Tism. Greg Tism seems to be getting the better of the standup. A looping hook to the body misses from Tism. Hales does a little dance to reset his feet. Hales dives in for a single leg takedown but Tism sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tism looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Tism showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Mark Hales's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Hales moves out of range of the strikes. Hales shoots in and gets a takedown into Tism's guard. Tism looking for a sweep. Not yet Tism, not yet. Hales wants to control from the top but Tism keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hales passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tism struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hales goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tism has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hales but great work by Tism. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tism trying to control the action but Hales is working from the bottom. Tism has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. I wouldn't like to be where Hales is right now. Tism wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hales keeps working. Hales is trying to control Tism's posture but Tism avoids it. Hales pushes Tism away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tism gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hales tries to buck Tism off but Tism is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hales is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tism has just dragged him back down to the mat. You can see the frustration on Hales's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hales is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Hales wants to get back to his feet but Tism drags him back down. Hales struggling a bit here. The referee asks Tism politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tism prefers to stall for the moment though.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Greg Tism seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hales ducks under a wild hook from Tism. Hales tries to counter with a takedown but Tism is quick to defend against it. A big right from Tism misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tism jabs Hales right on the nose. Hales blinks but takes it well. Greg Tism is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hales. Tism lands a lovely overhand right. A jab from Tism misses. Hales fails with a takedown attempt. Tism swings for the body but Hales moves out of range.
Tism displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Tism comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tism's corner calls for a 1-2. Tism obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Tism looks to land a right hand but Hales moved out of range. Tism fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hales shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tism sprawls well. Tism wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hales gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hales. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hales doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tism counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A jab from Tism misses. Hales tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tism sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hales somewhat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tism connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hales closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tism circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Greg Tism comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tism has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
