Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dynamite Dave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Karlsson's choice of entrance music: The Game-Motörhead. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dave throws a right hand that misses
and Karlsson counters with a straight right hand.
Karlsson tries to bum rush Dave with a series of wild strikes but Dave uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dave lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Karlsson lands a jab.
Dave throws a quick inside leg kick.
Karlsson with a hook.
Dave sizes up Karlsson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dave lands a glancing blow to the side of Karlsson's head.
Karlsson slips under a jab from Dave.
Karlsson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Dave walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karlsson connects with a body shot that sends Dave's belly button to the back.
Dave misses with a leg kick.
Karlsson throws a shot from downtown. Dave moves away and avoids it.
Dave feinted with a counter takedown.
Karlsson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Karlsson blocks a low kick nicely.
Karlsson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karlsson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Dave moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Karlsson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Karlsson counters with a straight right hand.

Karlsson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dave finds it's way round the side to connect with Karlsson's head.
Dave really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dave tries to score with a low kick but Karlsson moves his leg out of the way.
Dave throws a poor cross that misses
letting Karlsson counter with a right hand.
We've been told by Dave's head coaches at The Bear's Den that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Karlsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dave throws a lazy uppercut
and Karlsson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karlsson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dave is looking to slow Karlsson down with leg kicks.
Karlsson misses with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Karlsson scores with a shot to the body.
Karlsson catches Dave with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Dave takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dave is rocked!
BOOM! Karlsson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dave. Dave tries to recover but Karlsson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dave lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Karlsson!
Frank Karlsson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
