Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Graveyard Symphony kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mad Max looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Max gets a clinch.
Stark throws a punch but it's blocked by Max.
I was talking to Stark's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Max manages to break the clinch.
Stark drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Max wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Jose Stark is the new lightweight champion!
Jose Stark decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
In defeat, Mad Max stepped up to the mic, saying 'I precisely prepare for this loss, I put all my best but I got too short. I'll be back, I promise.'.
