Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vito Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deon Carruthers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deon Carruthers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vito Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Deon Carruthers! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carruthers closes the distance and clinches. Chaney tries a body shot but Carruthers blocks it.

Carruthers moves in looking to clinch but Chaney pushes him off. Carruthers doesn't manage to clinch there - Chaney circles away.

Carruthers looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Carruthers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chaney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carruthers tries to clinch up and Chaney counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Carruthers! Chaney working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Chaney connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Carruthers some visible discomfort.

Deon Carruthers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chaney on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Carruthers. Carruthers obviously looking to wear him down.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Chaney ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chaney no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chaney is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chaney looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that's the end of the fight! Deon Carruthers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Carruthers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
