Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelius tries to clinch up.
Anderson tries to clinch but Aurelius moves away
and Aurelius counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Aurelius.
Aurelius is trying to drag Anderson to the mat but Anderson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Aurelius wants the takedown. Anderson is fighting it off but Aurelius persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Anderson's guard against the cage.

and Anderson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Aurelius's guard now.
Anderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Aurelius wants to hit a switch here but Anderson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Aurelius there!

Aurelius is trying to trip Anderson. He has hold of a leg but Anderson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Aurelius persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anderson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Aurelius is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Anderson to the mat. Anderson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Aurelius wants to stand and escape but instead Anderson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Anderson stands and throws Aurelius's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Aurelius throws a strike aimed at the side of Anderson's head but Anderson avoids it well.
