Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Adams is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parker avoids it really well and circles away.
Adams just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromParker.
Parker dives in for a single leg takedown but Adams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Parker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Parker.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adams can do anything to dispel that myth.
Parker won't allow Adams to get back to his feet.

Parker drops back looking for a leg! Adams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Adams manages to kick Parker off! Parker jumps back into Adams's guard.

Adams is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Parker is aware though and is defending well.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Parker cracks Adams with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Parker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Adams can do to turn this around?

Adams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adams has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Parker content to control rather than advance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adams looks like he's trying to stand up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

I really don't envy Adams right now.
Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Parker's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
