Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kirk Hale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Angad Singh!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hale.

Singh gets a takedown into half guard.
Hale is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Hale is not content to let Singh control the position.
Hale is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh stands up and beckons Hale to join him on the feet.
Hale shoots and misses
and Singh counters with a two punch combo.
Hale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Singh misses with a kick to the body.

Singh shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hale is looking to escape.
Hale is concentrating on defense, preventing Singh from advancing position.
Singh is trying to control. Hale wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Singh wants to stand up but Hale has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Hale actively working from the bottom here.
Hale is trying to stand up here but Singh is controlling him well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hale is staying active underneath Singh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hale is looking for a sweep. Singh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Singh shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hale kicks off Singh and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hale shoots in for a double leg but Singh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Singh drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hale defends it well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Hale. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Singh pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hale back to the cage. Singh follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


Hale is rocked!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hale is defended easily by Singh.
Oh Hale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Singh is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Hale is in big trouble! Singh is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Hale. Poor guy.
