Prizefighter comes to the cage accompanied by Under and Over it by ffdp. Del Rio has chosen Requiem for a dream as his entrance music. HeavyWeight Prizefighter had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Del Rio darts in and clinches Prizefighter up against the cage.
Prizefighter lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Alberto Del Rio has been cut.
Nice body punch from Prizefighter - that landed with a thud.
Del Rio tries to circle away but Prizefighter has him pinned against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Prizefighter.
Del Rio tries to throw a body punch but Prizefighter avoids it by throwing Del Rio back against the cage.

Prizefighter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Prizefighter.

Del Rio jumps into guard, dragging Prizefighter to the mat.
Prizefighter is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prizefighter lands a couple of digs.
Del Rio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prizefighter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Prizefighter won't allow Del Rio to get back to his feet.
Del Rio preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Prizefighter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
A lull in the action here as Prizefighter stalls from top position.

Prizefighter works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Prizefighter is putting a hurting on Del Rio here, landing some big shots from side control.
Del Rio takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Prizefighter remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Prizefighter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Del Rio is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Prizefighter remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Prizefighter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Del Rio keeps working.
Prizefighter misses with the ground and pound.

Prizefighter throwing strikes but Del Rio manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Prizefighter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Prizefighter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Del Rio is posturing up here but Prizefighter has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Del Rio tries to roll out but it's too tight and Del Rio has to tap! Slick submission there by Prizefighter!
