Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Woody May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kezz The Convict (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Convict has chosen Locked up as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Woody May! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kezz The Convict! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! May waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Convict. The Convict digs a good body shot into May's ribs. May takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
May takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The Convict connects with a nice looking jab.
The Convict lands a nice hook to May's body. May takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. May takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The Convict fakes high and swings low for a body shot but May manages to avoid it. The fighters circle momentarily. The Convict darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. May ducks under a wild hook from The Convict. The Convict connects with the punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. May throws a body shot but no joy. The Convict misses with a looping right. The Convict lands a straight punch to the body, keeping May at a distance.
May dives in for a single leg takedown but The Convict sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. May changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Convict tries to avoid it but May manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Convict to the ground. The Convict escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. May throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and The Convict counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The Convict tests May's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Convict throws a right and a left that May avoids nicely. The Convict throws a jab when May was well out of range. The Convict comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A decent looking cross lands there for The Convict. The Convict slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The Convict feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The Convict lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
May is rocked! The Convict with a nice head shot there. Oh May is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The Convict throwing strikes but missing. May seems to have got his legs back now. May trying to control the position.
The Convict stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. May swivels though and keeps the full guard. The Convict with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Convict working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. May will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. May working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from The Convict. The Convict missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! The Convict trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The Convict postures up and lands a big shot to May's brow. May wants to sweep here but The Convict controlling him for the moment. The Convict is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The Convict postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The Convict trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Convict is looking to work some ground and pound but May has wrist control. The Convict engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The Convict scoring with punches to the head and body. The Convict throws a big elbow that misses. May utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The Convict showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The Convict comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. May closes the distance looking to clinch and The Convict counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. May drops his hands momentarily and The Convict takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. May dives in and grabs The Convict's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Convict pushes down on May's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Woody May. That's going to take a lot out of him. May throws a body punch but The Convict moves out of range. The Convict drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Nice cross by The Convict. The Convict jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The Convict connects with a looping right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! May throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The Convict drops May with a straight right hand, right on the button! The Convict follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kezz The Convict! A very excited looking Kezz The Convict made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. The defeated Woody May had this to say: 'All or Nothing. K.O. or be K.Oed'.
