Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Johanssen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Just Another Victim by Helmet & House of Pain. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kurt Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Johanssen!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johanssen connects with a high kick.
Johanssen throws a series of punches but Liddell avoids them all with ease.
Liddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johanssen tries to avoid it but Liddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johanssen to the ground. Johanssen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johanssen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Johanssen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johanssen misses with the combination.
David Johanssen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johanssen lands a jab to the head.
Johanssen jabs Liddell right on the nose. Liddell blinks but takes it well.
Johanssen lands with a kick to the temple. Liddell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johanssen works over Liddell's head and body with a nice combination.
Johanssen scores a takedown into full mount!
Johanssen prevents Liddell from getting the reversal.
Liddell sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Johanssen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell strikes from the bottom but Johanssen uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Johanssen in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Liddell is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
