Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colton Parrish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Dupree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupree gets a takedown into half guard.
Parrish works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dupree really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parrish. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parrish is on top in guard.
Parrish would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Parrish postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dupree is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Parrish, into his guard.
Parrish wants to stand up but Dupree is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parrish had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dupree defends it easily.
Dupree stands up over Parrish, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parrish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dupree manages to get himself to full guard.

As Parrish backs off Dupree throws a huge counter combo but Parrish manages to avoid it all.
Sam Dupree seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dupree forces Parrish back against the cage and clinches.
Dupree's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Parrish shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dupree defends it nicely.

Horrible takedown attempt by Dupree or perhaps it was just good defense by Parrish, which made it look bad.

Dupree tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Parrish smiles and moves away.
Colton Parrish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Dupree.

Parrish is trying to push Dupree away but Dupree has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Dupree is trying to trip Parrish. He has hold of a leg but Parrish is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dupree persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Parrish looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dupree with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dupree has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Parrish. Oh but Dupree has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Parrish goes limp - he's gone! Dupree jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
