Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mentos mBledos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tran's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blockbuster Night Part 1. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tran.
A looping hook to the body misses from mBledos. Tran does a little dance to reset his feet.
mBledos scores with a hook.
mBledos scores with a jab to the body.
mBledos blocks a head kick by Tran.
Tran tries to clinch but mBledos is having none of it.
mBledos getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that mBledos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Tran throws a sloppy head kick and mBledos moves out of range easily.

Tran shoots for a double leg takedown but mBledos sprawls well. He's pushed Tran's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tran is desperately trying to improve his position but mBledos has a good base and remains in mount.

mBledos lands a big shot there that rocks Tran but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Tran gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and mBledos counters with a single leg into guard. Tran didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Tran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tran can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as mBledos controls the pace.
mBledos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tran has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, mBledos has managed to get both his arms back between Tran's legs - danger averted.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Tran bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Tran is trying hard to land a takedown here. mBledos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
mBledos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

mBledos looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tran!

mBledos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
mBledos creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

mBledos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tran's shoulder. That is not cool.
mBledos wants to control but Tran is keeping him busy.

Tran tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but mBledos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

mBledos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tran knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tran is not content to let mBledos control the position.
A lull in the action here as mBledos stalls from top position.
mBledos lands a nice forearm strike.

mBledos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tran doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tran manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

mBledos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tran wants to control from the top but mBledos keeps moving.

mBledos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and mBledos wants it to stay on the feet.

Tran tries to close the distance and clinch up but mBledos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Andrew Tran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
mBledos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tran's half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tran is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. mBledos is aware though and is defending well.

Mentos mBledos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
